#The Benefits of an In-Studio Photography Session
So what are the benefits of an in-studio photography session I here you ask? Why would you choose one over a beautiful outdoor sunset blessed location?
Well, here in the comfort of our home based North Brisbane studio we have plenty of room for your children and family to relax and have fun in a safe, controlled environment. We are fully air-conditioned and keep everyone comfortable on the hottest and coldest of days…no red sweaty faces or blue lips in our photographs! You also don’t have to worry about having to postpone your photography session when the weather isn’t right, rain doesn’t bother us at all. We’ll even come and help you from the car to the studio in the event of rain to limit your time out in the weather 🙂
You might like to bring a range of outfits with you to change up the look of your photographs and we can create a space to change outfits when needed, so changing clothes is easy. Toilet facilities are also close at hand.
The other benefit of an in-studio photography session for us is that we have consistent lighting and can make sure that the look you are after in your photos is what we can deliver…every time!
No distracting backdrops here, just a clean simple, white photography studio so the focus is on you, your little one, your family, whoever is in front of our lens. We love to show the emotion and connection in our photographs it’s all about you, not some fancy location.
And lastly, and this is a big one for Clare, lol, we don’t have to deal with the wilds of nature…ants, bugs and potentially snakes….argh!
Now, this doesn’t mean we don’t venture out on location but certainly our preference is in-studio for these main reasons. If on location is what you desire then we know some great places and are more than happy to give you what your heart desires.
So how do you decide what sort of session is best for you?
Well, consider the benefits of an in-studio photography session.
Also, consider what style of photography you’re interested in.
What is the look you’d like to achieve in your photos? Think about what’s important to you?
How would you like to display your photographs and where would you like to display them? Consider the decor of where they’ll be displayed.
Are you after wall art that would require a beautiful background or would you prefer something that shows the emotion, personality and connection of your family or the person being photographed?
Be wary of current fashion and styles that could potentially date over time.
But above all, think about the precious memories you’d like captured and what that means…documenting moments in a timeless way so they can be handed down proudly to the generations to come.
